Starter, Ford Commander TOP MOUNT Standard Rotation Engines

These starters are obsolete and no longer made, your options are to have yours rebuilt, find anyone with old new inventory, convert to a bottom mount starter.

Some Older Ford Commanders, and Harman Marine used optional  "TOP MOUNT" starters located above the transmission. These are New Marine Starters for NORMAL ROTATION ENGINES, however, when the starter is rotated from the std. "alongside" the oil pan, to above the transmission and now pointing forward the starter must be a "CCW" or reverse rotation starter for a normal rotation engine.

NOTE: This is a (3) bolt mount flange with (2) 3/8" bolts and (1) 5/16" bolt, starter is a CCW rotation, uses remote solenoid (MEE-0015)

THIS STARTER WILL NOT WORK ON OLDER REVERSE ROTATING ENGINES FOUND ON CORRECT CRAFT BOATS

All American Skier boats with top mount Commander Fords will use this starter
