1808 Fiberglass Stitched Mat
Older fiberglass boats used 18 & 24 oz. "Woven Roving" fiberglass, around 1990 many better boat builders switched to a stronger fiberglass that includes a light mat stitched to the back side.
1808 is 18 oz Stitched fiberglass with fiber angles at 0/90 deg. they are not woven, they are straight strands, and a 8 oz. CSM is stitched to the backside. This is the new "norm" for structural fiberglass.
