Typically used in 1986 and older Marine V-8s with the Prestolite Distributor, with Clamp down Cap, that were originally equipped with points and have since been converted to electronic ignition (reccomended)

Breaker Gap: .017" -Dwell 31 deg.   Initial Timing Set To: 6 deg. BTDC

       PCM FORD 351 240HP MAX RPM: 4400

Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8     Autolite Spark Plugs: varies by model

Breaker Gap: .018 -Dwell  29-33 deg.  Initial Timing Set to: 6 deg. BTDC (prestolite clamp cap)

      Indmar FORD 351 250

Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8     Spark Plugs: BTF3M  Gap: .035"

Dwell  30 deg.   Initial Timing Set To: 6 deg. BTDC @600 RPM
