Drop-in, In-Floor Ice chest. This was an option in late model American Skiers (works in many ski boats) Typically installed just ahead of the ski pylon in the center floor area making it easy for the driver to access. Aluminum frame, molded fiberglass insulated tub with drain plug, and Stainless lid pull.
NOTE: Shown with a carpeted lid, these are shipped with-out carpet, you will reuse the carpet that comes from your boat when the hole is cut.
Required part for servicing the forward fin area, boats that have sustained forward fin damage from striking things will need to have an access port for fiberglass repair or forward fin service. By carefully cutting the needed hole you can then perform the needed repairs, then drop in the new ice-chest to finish off the hole.
Dimensions: Hole in floor for this to drop in 16 3/4" x 11 1/2" Depth from top of floor surface to bottom of tub is 7 3/4"
Designed to have carpet installed over the main lid (not the frame) the gaps around the lid to frame are sized to accept carpet.
