Always check to see that your key slides freely inside the prop key slot and the shaft key slot (or rudder) if not use a flat hand file, lay the file on a flat table and carefully slide the key over the file on each side until the key passes in/out of the prop/shaft slot without "sticking". There is a "fine line" between a smooth fit and a sloppy fit which is why I do not use a grinder.
