The original "Silent-Rider" muffler developed by Ron Tanis & Marine Muffler in 1986 has been duplicated in various dimensions and shapes and is now the common muffler in all modern ski boats. This is a replica built to the original dimensions for American Skiers and others that used this muffler.
Dimensions: Dual 3" inlets, Dual 3" outlets.
Overall width 30 1/2" +/- 1/4" NEW Dimension for 2025 29 1/2" (1 inch narrower for easier fitment in motorbox)
Inlet Center to center approx. 25 1/4"
Outlet Center to Center approx. 18" (muffler mfg. tolerance is +/- 1/4" on locations)
New for 2025, we have adjusted the overall width and removed the upper chamber for easier fitment
Additional pictures show the replacement muffler side by side with an original Silent Rider Muffler, look close & you will see the inlet tubes have collapsed from overheating (impeller gone bad)
