My installation was straight forward and the instructions were easy to follow. It helps that since my original Faria Gateway and gauges had started failing a few years ago and I disassembled and reassembled the dash and gateway trying to revive them.
Ron T. answered my questions when it was clear that whomever installed my original gateway didn't properly label the fuel sender wire (it wasn't pink either or maybe after 20 years it turned red). I am one of the owners without a pink wire in my harness and had to take advantage of the pink wire kit. That kit arrived in a timely fashion. I was able to test the whole setup and everything worked perfectly. It was especially nice to have a reliable fuel gauge and see a speedometer again. The speedometer was the first to go years ago.
I'll miss the depth sounder and water and air temp readouts but I can probably do that some other way.

The Faria Gateway Conversion Kit - TRD-2001-CC for my 2006 SAN was confirmed as a direct replacement during a phone call with the supplier. The kit shipped within approximately a week and a half, and the installation process took about one hour to complete.
