Brand New (not re-man.) Perm. Magnet MARINE Starter for Vortec series 5.0 & 5.7 Chevrolet (14" ring gear) and many others (see below) Bottom Mount, Standard Rotation, pre-painted Black. Includes metric nuts for battery cable and solenoid wire.
Be cautious when tightening the battery cable, too much torque will crack the solenoid!
High Torque gear reduction starter with offset bolt pattern. Uses two of the same size long starter bolts.
Starter will work on all I/O engine applications with 14" flywheels on all Mercruiser, Volvo, Marine Power, OMC, Indmar etc 3.0L/181ci, 4.3L/262ci, 5.0L/305ci, 5.7L/350ci, 7.4L/454ci and 8.2L/502ci.
Replaces: Mercruiser: #50-812428A3, 50-806964A2, 50-812604A2, 50-822330A2; Volvo Penta: 3854751-9,3856004-1; OMC: 985063 and 985064.
