My new favorite Ignition Coil for older Ski Boats, replaces the std.
coil and is the recommended coil to be used with all Pertronix converted
distributors.

40,000 volt output is about double what the original coils put out, easier starting, hotter spark!

For
Ford or Chevy V-8 marine applications: This is a 1.5 ohm coil designed
to be used with electronic ignition, NOT Points, if you converted your
OEM points type Distributor with an electronic Ignition Kit this coil
will work fine, but if it still has points in it this coil will not work
(for long)

(Ballast resister or Resistor wire MUST BE REMOVED  with this coil )

Spark plug gap will remain at OEM Specs, although I have opened them up an additional .004-.005" with very good results
