A.R.E. Shaft System is a Double taper Inboard Ski Boat replacement
Drive Shaft complete with prop nut, Brass prop keyway, Double Taper
Shaft, Coupling, coupling nut (shipped installed but not tight for
easier assembly)
We recommend a double taper shaft over a single
taper, single taper has a taper at the prop end, straight cut shaft at
the coupling end, a double taper has a taper at both ends and a tapered
coupling that matches.
(Note pic above is a std coupling NOT a reverse coupling)
Diameter: 1 1/8" aka 1.125"
Length: 50" to 60" Must specify length in comments section when checking out (length from the coupling face to the end of the prop end threads)
Coupling: 5" B/W (Borg/Warner 4 bolt pattern) REVERSE, aka INVERTED for Hurth 630 V transmissions, PCM 2006.5+ Inverted Vee drives with 5" inverted coupling. ( the drive shaft passes through a tube in the transmission and the coupling is easily seen coming out the transmission)
