Special Metric ZF O-Ring:

This is the output shaft o-ring that needs to be replaced anytime the output flange is removed & replaced. You will also need to add a liberal amount of Loctite # 518 Flange Sealant to the splines to prevent trans oil seepage through the splines.

NOTE: a special 4 prong socket must be used to remove or re-attach the nut, the Torque for this nut is 88 Ft. Lbs.

NOTE: Removing the flange with the special socket may require 200+ Ft. Lbs of torque, NEVER use an impact Wrench, apply some heat with a "mini-torch" around the nut to soften the locktite.
